One day, while trying to escape from mean ole Comet Morehouse, Erbert and Gerbert took refuge in a dark and mysterious house. Once inside, they tried to light some candles, but each time they lit one, another flickered and went out. As they ran around in the darkness trying to light all the candles, they heard the laughter. First a low, evil chuckle. Then a screechy cackle. Then a no-good guffaw. The laughter got closer. And louder. And just when the boys thought they were doomed, a closet door opened and a boney hand pulled them out of danger. It was Boney Billy, a happy-go-lucky skeleton, who saved them from the freaky ghouls. And so the boys learned yet another valuable lesson: It’s not always a bad thing to have a skeleton in the closet.
