On Thursday, August 7th, Erbert & Gerbert’s made their debut into the Empire State by opening their first shop in the city of Buffalo. Owners, Rustan and Holly Carpenter, along with corporate real estate advisors, selected a superb site in the historic Elmwood Village. Elmwood village is a unique, urban area with an appealing mix of both retail and cultural attractions. In addition to the in-store foot traffic, E&G is just steps from SUNY Buffalo State and the Children’s Hospital of Buffalo, making delivery and catering business extremely viable for this location as well.
Rustan and Holly celebrated their grand opening by offering $3 Signature Sandwiches and were very excited with their first week’s impact on the community and sales results. Franchise Business Consultant, Eric Saltz said, “The top 5 sandwiches sold were the Erupter, Quatro, Apollo, Titan and Spartan…guests were very excited for the promotion!”
The Buffalo location is but one of three that Rustan and Holly intend to develop in the surrounding area. Both franchisee and franchisor are looking forward to growth of the brand throughout this region of New York.
